Mr Black and Distillery Botanica Team Up for Good

Mr Black Coffee Liqueur has joined the fight against the spread of COVID-19 by creating an 80% ethanol hand sanitiser, in partnership with Distillery Botanica on the NSW central coast.

Made to World Health Organisation specifications, Mr Black sold out of their first batch of Love Thy Neighbour sanitiser in a matter of hours last week, with new stock going into production this week.

With more than 60% of Mr Black’s business affected by the closure of the world’s best bars and restaurants, everyone’s favourite coffee liqueur has switched to producing a product in extreme need right now while helping keep its distillery staff employed.

The 500ml bottles will be available via soon.

Food Equity Group launches HospoMarket

Sydney food and beverage business, Food Equity Group, today opened HospoMarket, a brand-new industry focused convenience store at Chatswood Interchange, which includes ‘click and collect’ and contactless home delivery services.

HospoMarket is a centralised community-centric marketplace for local area hospitality businesses, to help them retain their staff and ultimately survive. With local venues such General Chao, Stretch Italian and The Steam Engine involved, other local restaurants are invited to join the movement, initially offering the delivery service to all residents across Sydney’s Lower North Shore, with plans to offer the exciting low-cost model across Sydney and Australia.

The service allows local restaurants to promote a chilled ready-meal style product range at, with customers simply going onto the website to place their order, electing to have it either home delivered or to collect it the following day from the HospoMarket Convenience Store which is centrally located in the downstairs concourse at Chatswood Interchange, adjacent to Chatswood railway station.

Other packaged goods and pantry staples will also be available online or in store, supplied by foodservice manufacturers and distributors who already service the area, and who are actively seeking a new direct path to the consumer market having been hit by the massive industry downturn.
