General Chao Launch Party
Sydney’s top food media and influencers enjoyed a six course banquet of premium Australian-Asian dishes created by the talented and super friendly executive chef Son Sewoo at the opening night of General Chao in Sydney’s North Shore.
More than 120 VIP guests and fooderati were tempted by an XO station, roaming waiters serving signature cocktails and canapes including wagyu beef bites, laksa prawn skewers, mother in law eggs, smoked kingfish ceviche and beef jerky.

Kaldor Public Art Projects Announces Its 34th Installation
It’s the 50th anniversary of the ambitious and pioneering Kaldor Public Art Projects and, to celebrate, it’s commissioned New York artist Asad Raza to present a work in Australia for the first time.
The yet-to-be-named piece will be in the Clothing Store building at Carriageworks, and Raza will work with biologists and environmental scientists to create the installation, which will feature “organic elements”.
