Destination NSW appoints MINT as its public relations agency for Vivid Sydney 2019

The Mint Partners has been appointed by Destination NSW as their partner public relations agency to assist in the massive communications program for Vivid Sydney 2019.

The world’s largest festival of light, music and ideas, Vivid Sydney is the pinnacle of the annual Australian events calendar. In 2019, Destination NSW’s key event will be held from 24 May.

Heading into its 11th year, Vivid Sydney continues to attract more than two million attendees and generate more than $172million in visitor expenditure for the state economy.

Established in 2007, The Mint Partners is an independent communications agency with a well-earned reputation in delivering optimum results for premium lifestyle brands.

Founded by Brett Galvin and Genevieve Taubman, MINT has extensive experience in promoting major events, as well as creative travel and destination campaigns, for The Australian Turf Club, World Polo Championship, Marriott International, The Peninsula Hotels and Daydream Island.

Working across the festival’s three pillars of Light, Music and Ideas, The Mint Partners has been tasked to assist in the delivery of a proactive communications strategy for Vivid Sydney 2019 to secure maximum earned media coverage and commentary in traditional, digital and social outlets.

Managing director Brett Galvin said the agency thrives on helping brands innovate by being dynamic and nimble, coming up with strategic and creative ideas that cut through a cluttered market to drive real business results.
