lululemon #theother364

lululemon is launching a global campaign for International Women’s Day called #theother364. The campaign hopes to bridge the gender equality gap and raise awareness for IWD beyond March 8, because there is work to be done all year round.

As part of the campaign, lululemon will release a limited-edition, printed Love Tee with the messaging of International Women’s Day after day, after day, the other 364 days. The printed Love Tee will be available online at lululemon.com.au and at select stores across Australia & New Zealand.

International Pancake Day

While we try our best to watch our waistlines here at MINT we couldn’t help but indulge on International Pancake Day this week!

Fun fact: International Pancake Day is held on Shrove Tuesday, traditionally a feast day before Lent. Pancakes were cooked to use up eggs and fats before people started fasting.

Kylie Minogue x Mardi Gras

Kylie Minogue made a surprise appearance at Sydney’s 41st Mardi Gras parade.

Almost 200 floats featuring 12,000 people made their way down Oxford Street on Saturday night, celebrating a multitude of cultures, religious beliefs, organisations and causes, and embracing the theme of “Fearless”.

Wearing a shimmering gold dress, Minogue made a surprise appearance during the event alongside Courtney Act and a group of drag queens dressed as the singer. Word on the street is the songstress stayed at the Sheraton Grand Sydney, Hyde Park. Fitting for such a glamorous occasion!
